Stunning design from the Carl M. Cohr workshop, Denmark circa 1930's. Ten tall vertical panels form a bold and striking silhouette. The complementing strainer section with its ten sided edge slips into notches and turns to lock. The strainer is housed beneath a slender pour spout for practical function. A moon top with ring of Saturn completes the design. The Cohr workshop originated in 1860 under the direction of Carl M. Cohr and later became noted for impeccable Danish design. Examples of Cohr works are in the collection of the Brohan Museum in Berlin. 9 1/4" H.
