Impeccable design! The lobed creamer and sugar are distinctly influenced by Josef Hoffmann. They have hand-hammered detail and rest upon their original oval tray with its complementing, hammered, rising border. All pieces have rolled rims, a sign of quality. Each is signed by the Wilkens & Sohne silver workshop of Bremen-Hemelingen, Germany. Each consecutively numbered 7173, 7174 and 7175, along with 830 Fine Silver marks; circa 1929. Examples of Wilkens works are represented in the collection of the Brohan Museum in Berlin. 6 1/4" W., 9 1/8" L. tray; 2 1/8" H. sugar; 2 5/8" H. creamer
