Chiparus portrayed children in his earliest works. This rare and massive example depicts a spirited youth playing pipes. Detailed casting by Etling, the artist's early foundry. Greenish patina with contrasting golden-brown highlights to hair and pipes. This fine example by Sabino epitomizes the best of Art Deco in its pure form. The concentrically tiered glass waterfall shade rests above its complementing silvered bronze base. Among the most effectively translated lighting designs by Marius-Ernest Sabino made in his atelier circa 1930. Signed upon shade interior in molded relief: SABINO 4640 PARIS-DEPOSE. Dimensions:12 1/4"H, 4 1/2" W.

Bold stepped Art Deco form with notched architectural elements in relief about the circumference. This highly collected cocktail shaker is extraordinarily rare to find with its set-of-six matching conical cocktail glasses. Each with matching step and notched design upon the bases. Shaker's top cap enhanced with a ball finial, removes to reveal a wafer-form strainer which lifts out for convenience. Denmark circa 1930's. 8 3/4" H. shaker, 2 3/4" H. each glass.

This well-known Modernist shaker was designed by Folke Arstrom for Guldsmedsaktiebolaget (GAB) in Stockholm in 1935. Made of nickel-plated brass and Bakelite. Concave and convex panels with incised, patinated, horizontal grooves at lower section. Top cap unscrews to reveal an internal wafer strainer. Stunning Danish design! Rounded form has a stepped lobed mid-section. Top cap with a its scrolling and graduated beaded finial bears a distinct Georg Jensen influence. Cap removes to reveal a strainer within the cocktail shaker's mid-section. Denmark circa 1930's. 9 1/2" H.

Elegant guilloche enamel and sterling silver candlesticks with balluster-form, cut-crystal columns. The golden enamel work has geometric, triangular patterns upon the rounded bases. Candle cups have complementing enamel with an engine-turned pattern. Hallmarks: Adie Bros., Birmingham, 1930. 5" H., 3" W.

Very fine quality sterling silver and crystal ice cooler made by the well-known Mappin & Webb. Crystal is cut into nine panels with curving fan patterns. Top is mounted with a silver frame along with notched and curving Art Deco handles. Complete with its original silver ice drainer to allow water to settle beneath the ice cubes. Art Deco, geometrically stylized Ric & Rac terrier salt cellars. Based upon cartoon canines by illustrator Paul Abraham (1898-1933), known as Pol Rab, Ric was a Scottish Terrier and Rac, a Wire-Hair Terrier. Each stunningly whimsical dog faces its bowl-form salt cellar with Baccarat crystal liner. Made by Christofle in France circa 1931. Art Deco pottery group of a nymph and faun from the Marcel Guillard (1896-1932) ceramic workshop. Sculpted by G. Debloize. The draped nymph and resting faun have a cream crackle glaze and rest upon a mottled gray base. Artist and ceramist marks are impressed beneath the pottery base. France circa 1925. 11 1/4" H., 10" W.
