Stunning design from the Carl M. Cohr workshop, Denmark circa 1930's. Ten tall vertical panels form a bold and striking silhouette. The complementing strainer section with its ten sided edge slips into notches and turns to lock. The strainer is housed beneath a slender pour spout for practical function. A moon top with ring of Saturn completes the design. The Cohr workshop originated in 1860 under the direction of Carl M. Cohr and later became noted for impeccable Danish design. Examples of Cohr works are in the collection of the Brohan Museum in Berlin. 9 1/4" H.

Impeccable Swedish design. The sleek, vertically grooved form has alternating wide and narrow grooves. The top cap with it's stylized multi-ball finial removes to reveal a wafer strainer housed beneath. A fine design that stands out in the realm of modernist form cocktail shakers. Marks for the Tesi workshop of Gothenburg, Sweden, circa 1940. Original set-of six matching, rare to find, Tesi modernist cocktail goblets.

Whimsical design! This cocktail recipe "Rolodex" design stand is fashioned as a chromium cocktail shaker. A knob upon the side turns to reveal an array of celluloid cards which must be flipped gently to offer recipes such as: BRONX, CLOVER CLUB, MANHATTAN, LONDON COCKTAIL and so on. A Scottish Thistle and 'S' are engraved upon the front of the distinctive cocktail shaker. An art deco stepped cap removes to show a pivot wafer strainer housed beneath. Crystal combination cocktail shaker and mixer, is deeply cut with diamond patterns. Wonderful, creative design has a sterling silver cover to allow shaking side-to-side. Remove cover to use as a mixer with a long cocktail spoon. A flat-spouted silver pourer upon the side allows for straining.
