Vienna Secession silver drinking cup or goblet by the well-regarded J.C. Klinkosch silver workshop in Vienna circa 1925-'30. The hammered, silver-footed goblet with a swirling, fluted knop upholding the cup was likely designed by Oswald Haerdtl. The artist, known for his distinct Vienna Secession forms, was an assistant to Josef Hoffmann. A beautiful, stylized applique monogram is upon one side. Impressed marks for 800 fine silver as well as workshop marks. Examples of Klinkosch works are found in the Brohan Museum in Berlin. 6 1/8" H.
