Unusual "cock"-tail shaker with a finely cast, large rooster finial upon the top cap. Interior is fitted with a prong-form citrus juicer. Invert the strainer section to pierce and extract essence of a  lemon, lime or orange to enhance the perfect cocktail recipe. Stamped 1 1/2 pint beneath, along with maker marks for William Suckling Ltd. of Birmingham circa 1930's. 11 1/4" H.  

Elegant! Carved mother-of-pearl cocktail picks are each mounted with a detailed, cast, silvered rooster. The set-of-six is complete in its  original silk- and satin-lined case. Made in England circa 1930's. 3 1/2" L. each pick

Enameled and silvered mechanical tongs. Deep teal-green enamel has an engine-turned pattern beneath. Used for ice or olives, when impressed, plunger-form mechanism opens bottom claws for grasping. Nice quality and design. Made in Norway circa 1930's.  8 " L.

Twisted-stem cocktail bar mixer spoon with a convenient muddler upon its end. Identical to those we have had marked Asprey. Made in England circa 1930's. 11" L.

Practical in form as well as function, the silvered Asprey cocktail spoon has a twisted stem for easy grip and swizzle. A convenient muddler masher is upon its end. England circa 1940's. 10 1/2" L.    

A concentrically stepped Art Deco jigger top cap crowns the top of the elegant cocktail shaker. Complementing incised bandings are upon the mid-strainer section. Made by the Elkington workshop in Birmingham circa 1930. 8" H.

Art Deco, geometrically stylized Ric & Rac terrier salt cellars. Based upon cartoon canines by illustrator Paul Abraham (1898-1933), known as Pol Rab, Ric was a Scottish Terrier and Rac, a Wire-Hair Terrier. Each stunningly whimsical dog faces its bowl-form salt cellar with Baccarat crystal liner. Made by Christofle in France circa 1931. Firm's marks beneath each. 3 1/4" L., 2 1/4" H. seated; 3 1/2" L., 2" H. standing

Handsome staghorn magnifier. Its naturally curved handle creates a comfortable grip. Sterling silver mount has beaded detail. Hallmarks: Mappin & Webb, Sheffield 1926. 4" W., 10 5/8" L.

A whimsical and unusual red barrel houses four stacking cocktail bar shot glasses. The barrel's top section removes to reveal the jiggers nestled within. Barrel is gilded inside. Made in Germany circa 1940's. 2 1/4" H., 1 1/2" H. each shot

This is the authentic original Napier Penguin Cocktail Shaker designed by Emile Schuelke in 1936. Retains its original white rubber stopper within beak, dried out as usual with age. Superb condition inside and out. This example is always a "must have" for the serious collector. 12 1/4" Height. Elegant, large round tray made by the highly regarded Mappin & Webb workshop of London and Sheffield. The tray, with its raised, wave borders, is supported by four Art Deco, curved feet. Registry mark beneath for 1927. 15" W.

A red-nosed man in a bowler hat enjoys a bottle of wine and baguette. The whimsical chromium figure with enamel accents rests alongside a wooden holder fashioned to look like a brick wall. The holder contains a set-of-eight cherry-top picks. All are upon a macassar-wood base. Made in France circa 1930's. 4 7/8" L., 3 7/8" H. with picks
