The original, highly collected, recipe or "Tells-U-How" cocktail shaker made by Napier in Connecticut. The design for this form was patented by LeRoy Fontan for Napier in 1935. The outer sleeve revolves to reveal drink recipes in windows. An example is illustrated in 'The Cocktail Shaker' by Khachadourian, page 97. No collection should be without one. Bronze bottle opener mounted with a cast figural swan. The form is a fine example made by Richard Rohac (1906-1956) in Austria circa 1950. Rohac trained with Hagenauer prior to establishing his own metal workshop in 1932. He was well-known for creating stylized, Modernist figures of animals as well as other decorative sculpture. Signed beneath with the artist's backward/forward double "R" mark. 1 3/4" H., 3" L.

Bold stepped Art Deco form with notched architectural elements in relief about the circumference. This highly collected cocktail shaker is extraordinarily rare to find with its set-of-six matching conical cocktail glasses. Each with matching step and notched design upon the bases.
