An unusual find! Silvered art deco citrus juicer. Top reamer with heart form perforations drains into its awaiting stepped, lobed cup, with reticulated base support. Juicer can be inverted to allow pouring of citrus essence while straining seeds or pour directly from the cup. Stamped marks for the Cailar Bayard workshop of France, circa 1930's. 2 1/2" W., 4 1/2" H.

Quite distinctive and elegant engine turned cocktail shaker. The large classic form has wide turned bandings in an unusual moire pattern. An additional feature is housed within. The strainer section has a prong-form citrus piercer. Invert to extract essence of a lemon, lime or orange to enhance the perfect cocktail recipe. Bronze bottle opener mounted with a cast figural swan. The form is a fine example made by Richard Rohac (1906-1956) in Austria circa 1950. Rohac trained with Hagenauer prior to establishing his own metal workshop in 1932. He was well-known for creating stylized, Modernist figures of animals as well as other decorative sculpture. Signed beneath with the artist's backward/forward double "R" mark. 1 3/4" H., 3" L.
