Bold stepped Art Deco form with notched architectural elements in relief about the circumference. This highly collected cocktail shaker is extraordinarily rare to find with its set-of-six matching conical cocktail glasses. Each with matching step and notched design upon the bases. Shaker's top cap enhanced with a ball finial, removes to reveal a wafer-form strainer which lifts out for convenience. Denmark circa 1930's. 8 3/4" H. shaker, 2 3/4" H. each glass.

Pair sterling silver Danish-influence two-arm candelabra. A central urn form with scrolling berry elements is reminiscent of Georg Jensen design. The stunning form is supported by a hammered silver base. Marks beneath for the prominent Gorham silver workshop along with date mark for year 1941. 7 1/4" H., 9 1/2" W.

Extraordinary quality and design. Chinese export fine silver cocktail shaker has repousse chrysanthemums along with foliage and branches in high relief about the circumference of its surface. The beautifully crafted example has hand-chased details. A charming fluttering butterfly in relief hovers above and completes the elegant design. Stamped beneath with maker mark of the Guang Li workshop of Shanghai, circa 1920. Very fine condition. 9 1/4" H.

Impeccable design! The lobed creamer and sugar are distinctly influenced by Josef Hoffmann. They have hand-hammered detail and rest upon their original oval tray with its complementing, hammered, rising border. All pieces have rolled rims, a sign of quality. Each is signed by the Wilkens & Sohne silver workshop of Bremen-Hemelingen, Germany. Each consecutively numbered 7173, 7174 and 7175, along with 830 Fine Silver marks; circa 1929. The original, highly collected, recipe or "Tells-U-How" cocktail shaker made by Napier in Connecticut. The design for this form was patented by LeRoy Fontan for Napier in 1935. The outer sleeve revolves to reveal drink recipes in windows. An example is illustrated in 'The Cocktail Shaker' by Khachadourian, page 97. No collection should be without one. Vienna Secession silver drinking cup or goblet by the well-regarded J.C. Klinkosch silver workshop in Vienna circa 1925-'30. The hammered, silver-footed goblet with a swirling, fluted knop upholding the cup was likely designed by Oswald Haerdtl. The artist, known for his distinct Vienna Secession forms, was an assistant to Josef Hoffmann. A beautiful, stylized applique monogram is upon one side. Impressed marks for 800 fine silver as well as workshop marks. Examples of Klinkosch works are found in the Brohan Museum in Berlin. 6 1/8" H.
