Based upon cartoon canines by illustrator Paul Abraham (1898-1933), known as Pol Rab, Ric was a Scottish Terrier and Rac, a Wire-Hair Terrier. Rare sterling silver "Wet Your Whistle" cocktail jigger. The figural jigger in the form of an actual whistle is fully functional as such when blown! Marked upon its side for both 1- and 2-oz. measure increments. Stamped marks within for the Napier workshop, as well as sterling. Connecticut, circa 1930's.
