Extraordinary design. High art nouveau centerpiece stand by the famous WMF (Wurttembergische MetallWarenfabrik) workshop in Germany circa 1900. A four footed curving base with irises in relief leads to a naturalistic column with flanking whiplash elements. An elaborately reticulated framework of art nouveau florals above rippling water like patterns holds a cobalt crystal bowl. The scallop edge bowl has gold enamel floral accents about it's form. Exhuberant whiplash handles complete the stunning center stand. Firm's marks beneath. Dimensions : 13"h, 15"w to handles.

Antique niello enamel and silver large snuff box. A repetition of circles and flower heads covers the surface of the box. A band of leaves lines each side of the rounded-edge form. Gilded interior. Silver standard and guarantee marks circa 1819-38. Maker mark as well as Paris city mark. Dimensions: 1/2" H., 1 3/4" W., 3 1/4" L.

Three draped parian maidens, each signed Copeland, are mounted upon a tripod-form stand. An elaborately detailed, gilded metal palm tree emerges from the stand's center. The naturalistic Victorian design upholds a crystal bowl cut and etched with complementing foliates about its border. Popular parian wares were prominent in Victorian-era England. Stunning example. Detailed hand-chasing surrounds twelve set agates upon the antique silver vesta, or match safe. Carnelians as well as mottled agates form a geometric and round cut pattern. Striker upon the bottom and gilded within the vesta. Hallmarks: John William Kirwan, Edinburgh 1911. 1 1/2" W., 2" H.
