Elegant cranberry silver overlay perfume bottle with chased silver overlay work. The interlacing and scrolling silver, along with a cartouche are upon a bulbous-form flacon. The collar is completely covered in silver, and a large, round stopper with complementing overlay completes the Art Nouveau design. Stamped sterling. American circa 1900. 5 3/4" H.

Purely Secession in its design and made circa 1902. The large, gilded photo frame has gitterwerk elements upon the geometrically cut and gently curved form. Signed on the reverse by the well-regarded Argentor workshop. The Austrian firm was located in Wimbergerstrasser in Vienna and was founded by Ernst Russ and Adolf Wilhelm Hetzel. The undulating form of the WMF (Wurttembergische Metallwarenfabrik) Jugendstil jewel box is supported by four curved feet. Abundant florals and vines adorn the surfaces. A rising, cast flower finial opens the hinged cover of the domed box. Illustrated in the firm's well-known 1906 catalogue, page 298. Stunning German Art Nouveau wine, or claret, jug made by the well-regarded Wilkens & Sohne silver workshop of Bremen circa 1900. High Art Nouveau detailed whiplash florals dance about the reticulated mount. A hinged cover with naturalistic blossom finial is upon its top, and an undulating handle completes the silver work. The cover is gilded within. A heavy, quality crystal carafe is cut in alternating panels of wave and diamond patterns. Signed with Wilkens mark, as well as 800 Fine Silver stamp. 12" H.

Made by Joseph Wilmore in Birmingham, the lovely silver grater is fully hallmarked for 1801, along with monarch's head. The wonderful quality oval form, with its ridged pattern, opens to reveal its original steel, hinged grater. Joseph Wilmore, born in 1773, was grandson of an original member of the Birmingham silver assay Office, established that same year. 3/4" H., 7/8" W., 1 3/8" L.
