A stunning example of fine Art Nouveau. The pewter-mounted glass vase is from the Moritz Hacker (Budapest 1849-1932) workshop founded in Vienna, Austria in 1882. Three detailed, cast irises climb the sides of the Loetz lilac glass vase decorated with undulating waves in aubergine. The well-regarded Hacker, a jeweler to the royal court, often collaborated with Loetz. Signed with Hacker workshop marks upon mount; Vienna circa 1900-05. 8 1/4" H.
