Kralik Glatt Silberiris vase with fine silver overlay. Cased golden iridescent pinched vase with a rose orchid interior. Art Nouveau chased silver flowers and vines embellish the form. Wilhelm Kralik Sohne was founded by Josef Meyr in Austro-Bohemia circa 1815. Silver overlay bears marks from La Pierre of New York, N.Y., and Newark, N.J., circa 1905. Dimensions: 4 1/4" H.

Reticulated flowers and interlacing vines complete the design along with naturalistic openwork handles. A cut-crystal liner rests within. Stamped marks for the Martin Mayer workshop of Mainz, Germany along with 835 Fine Silver marks, circa 1900. Beautifully executed Vienna Secession design upon this biscuit barrel made by the well-known firm of WMF (Wurttembergische Metallwarenfabrik) in Germany circa 1905. Reticulated frame and lid with Secession elements which are repeated in the hand-cut and etched crystal liner. Lovely Art Nouveau Doulton Lambeth stoneware vase. The bold, bulbous, baluster form with its upward-turned opening, is glazed in cobalt blue. Five large heart-form leaves with detailed relief beading are glazed in celadon. Additional leaves as well as pendant Art Nouveau foliates are glazed in light blue, gold and dark green. Stunning example from the well-regarded Orivit workshop of Cologne, Germany circa 1904. The pewter framework with its fluid, undulating form, has swirling foliate and berry patterns in relief. The large tray is flanked by curving, open Art Nouveau handles with firm's marks stamped beneath. Supported by eight feet, one replaced as seen in photo. Orivit, founded by Wilhelm Ferdinand Hubert Schnitz in 1894, commissioned well-known designers such as Hermann Gradl and Walter Scherf. In 1904 the firm was acquired by WMF {Wurttembergische Metalwaren Fabrik). Pictured in the book title, "ORIVIT: Zinn des Jugendstils aux Koln." The Brohan Museum in Berlin has a prominent collection of Orivit inclusive of several trays. Dimensions: 13 1/2" W., 22 1/2" L.
