Lovely set-of-six Val St. Lambert wine, or water goblets. The cased glasses are in the famous Belgian workshop's well-known red, or rose color. Each is cut in vertical, elongated ovals, alternating with rising, long-stemmed florettes. Five-sided, tapering stems are geometrically cut. Each of the fine quality, mid-century goblets is 7 3/4" H.

Bronze bottle opener mounted with a cast figural swan. The form is a fine example made by Richard Rohac (1906-1956) in Austria circa 1950. Rohac trained with Hagenauer prior to establishing his own metal workshop in 1932. He was well-known for creating stylized, Modernist figures of animals as well as other decorative sculpture. Signed beneath with the artist's backward/forward double "R" mark. 1 3/4" H., 3" L.

Lovely sterling silver bowl with a distinct Alphonse La Paglia influence. The Modernist form is virtually identical to designs commissioned by Georg Jensen to be created by La Paglia to retail in the Jensen store in New York from 1948-'51. Upon the designer's abrupt passing, silver workshops created examples closely based upon those of La Paglia. American circa 1950's. 3 1/8" H., 5 1/4" W.

Combination one- and two-ounce Modernist sterling cocktail jigger designed by Alphonse La Paglia. A native of Italy, La Paglia was commissioned to execute designs to be retailed by Georg Jensen, USA, in the 1940's. These were retailed for only a few years when designs were briefly continued by International Silver Co. His creations abruptly halted in 1953 due to his untimely passing. Lovely Modernist blossom motif. Pictured in "Jensen Silver, the American Designs, page 125. 3 1/2" H.
