Fine WMF (Wurttembergische Metallwarenfabrik) silvered pewter figural, monumental Art Nouveau vases in the manner of Alphonse Mucha. One has front relief of a barefoot maiden with flowing, tousled hair among florals and vines. The facing vase has a fluid-haired maiden sniffing a bouquet of undulating florals. Reverse of each has further interlacing foliates and vines. The neck and naturalistic waving tops are flanked by reticulated Art Nouveau whiplash handles. Stunning examples of Art Nouveau at its best. Firm's marks beneath. Germany circa 1907. 19 1/2" H., 10 1/2" w.

Lovely WMF (Wurttembergische Metallwarenfabrik) reticulated jardiniere or basket with high Art Nouveau whiplash florals and vines. A central Art Nouveau maiden medallion is upon two sides. Ikora Kristall vase made by WMF (Wurttembergische Metallwarenfabrik) under the direction of Karl Wiedmann in Germany circa 1939. Widely flaring trumpet form internally decorated in brilliant red at the rim. Bulbous bottom in deep teal green with radiating bubbles against a red background. The form is pictured on page 152 in "WMF Ikora and Myra Glaser Glass." 4 1/8" W., 3 7/8" H.

Extraordinary design. High art nouveau centerpiece stand by the famous WMF (Wurttembergische MetallWarenfabrik) workshop in Germany circa 1900. A four footed curving base with irises in relief leads to a naturalistic column with flanking whiplash elements. An elaborately reticulated framework of art nouveau florals above rippling water like patterns holds a cobalt crystal bowl. The scallop edge bowl has gold enamel floral accents about it's form. Exhuberant whiplash handles complete the stunning center stand. Firm's marks beneath. Dimensions : 13"h, 15"w to handles.

Beautifully interpreted Art Nouveau design. A Mucha-inspired figural maiden with flowing hair upholds a corner of her gown as it undulates about the perimeter of the tray. Pendant irises in relief are further enhanced by cast and applied flowers and fronds in high relief. Made by the famous WMF (Wurttembergische Metallwarenfabrik) workshop in Germany circa 1900. Fine WMF centerpiece depicting a central maiden with outstretched arms. Whiplash handles flank the high Art Nouveau reticulated form. Relief patterns of flowers and vines sweep about the surface. The crystal liner is cut with complimenting florals. Stabilized crack upon left of liner. Designed by Albert Mayer circa 1900 in Germany in the workshop's 1906 Catalogue page 364.
