Three draped parian maidens, each signed Copeland, are mounted upon a tripod-form stand. An elaborately detailed, gilded metal palm tree emerges from the stand's center. The naturalistic Victorian design upholds a crystal bowl cut and etched with complementing foliates about its border. Popular parian wares were prominent in Victorian-era England. Fine WMF (Wurttembergische Metallwarenfabrik) silvered pewter figural, monumental Art Nouveau vases in the manner of Alphonse Mucha. One has front relief of a barefoot maiden with flowing, tousled hair among florals and vines. The facing vase has a fluid-haired maiden sniffing a bouquet of undulating florals. Reverse of each has further interlacing foliates and vines. The neck and naturalistic waving tops are flanked by reticulated Art Nouveau whiplash handles. Stunning examples of Art Nouveau at its best. Firm's marks beneath. Germany circa 1907. 19 1/2" H., 10 1/2" w.

Stunning pair of Jungendstil bowls. The footed silver forms have sweeping Art Nouveau elements among shield friezes. Secession influence geometric designs complete the 800 fine silver framework. Undulating hand-cut crystal liners rest within. Two inner-rim flakes on one liner. Each signed beneath with workshop marks for the well-known Koch & Bergfeld, circa 1902. Retailer marks for Vollgold & Sohn are found on the silver as well. The Koch & Bergfeld silversmiths were founded in Bremen in 1829. Examples of their works are represented in the Brohan Museum collection in Berlin. 5 1/2" H., 7 1/4" W. each.

Ikora Kristall vase made by WMF (Wurttembergische Metallwarenfabrik) under the direction of Karl Wiedmann in Germany circa 1939. Widely flaring trumpet form internally decorated in brilliant red at the rim. Bulbous bottom in deep teal green with radiating bubbles against a red background. The form is pictured on page 152 in "WMF Ikora and Myra Glaser Glass." 4 1/8" W., 3 7/8" H.
