Unusual figural pewter maiden candlesticks. Female figure with hands upon hips and adorned with bow-tied head wrap and long braids. Made in Germany, circa 1900. 8 1/2" H.

This fine example by Sabino epitomizes the best of Art Deco in its pure form. The concentrically tiered glass waterfall shade rests above its complementing silvered bronze base. Among the most effectively translated lighting designs by Marius-Ernest Sabino made in his atelier circa 1930. Signed upon shade interior in molded relief: SABINO 4640 PARIS-DEPOSE. Dimensions:12 1/4"H, 4 1/2" W.

Large WMF (Wurttembergische Metallwarenfabrik) Jundendstil inkstand with Vienna- Secession-influence design elements. Double inkwells with reticulated finials flank a brass rocker blotter. The sloping form is designed to accommodate a resting pen or letter. A hinged-top triple-stamp box completes the extraordinary design. Illustrated in the firm's well-known 1906 catalogue, page 285. Lovely English Victorian silvered candlesticks with scalloped bases which support complementing columns. Removable flower-form bobeches enhance the top. Made by the Elkington workshop in Birmingham, 1845. 10 1/8" H.

Silvered Victorian Corinthian column candlesticks. Tall, fluted pillar columns with draping, wrapped floral garlands. Sweeping garlands further enhance the notched square bases. Made in England circa 1880. 10 1/2" H., 4 3/4" W.

Rectangular tray with rounded corners. Horizontal engine-turned wave patterns alternate with grooved designs. Complementing handles have raised groove elements as well. Made in England circa 1925. 12 1/4" W., 19 1/4" L.

Lovely bottle-form silver overlay decanter. The chased overlay in interlacing Art Nouveau design has robust wheat and foliates about the tall vessel. An all- silver-covered stopper rests upon the top. Marks for the Alvin Silver Workshop of Rhode Island, known for their fine overlay work, circa 1905. 12 3/8" H.

Stunning, large, fine quality tray with raised, curved and notched borders in the Chippendale style. Bold, curving handles embellish the rectangular form. Made by the well-known Hukin & Heath workshop in Birmingham circa 1890. 14 1/2" W., 24 3/4" W.

Quatrefoil-form silver gilt cufflinks with incised design. Made in Norway by the Albert Scharwing silver workshop circa 1940's. Workshop marks as well as 835 fine silver marks upon each. 5/8" W., 7/8" L.

Green Jade vase in an optic rib pattern. Steuben's bulbous form with flared opening is Frederick Carder's original design number 2533. An example is pictured in another color in "Frederick Carder and Steuben Glass," by Dimitroff, page 210. 5" H.

Vienna Secession silver drinking cup or goblet by the well-regarded J.C. Klinkosch silver workshop in Vienna circa 1925-'30. The hammered, silver-footed goblet with a swirling, fluted knop upholding the cup was likely designed by Oswald Haerdtl. The artist, known for his distinct Vienna Secession forms, was an assistant to Josef Hoffmann. A beautiful, stylized applique monogram is upon one side. Impressed marks for 800 fine silver as well as workshop marks. Examples of Klinkosch works are found in the Brohan Museum in Berlin. 6 1/8" H.

Pure Arts & Crafts in design! Silvered basket with completely hammered surface. Octagonal form has an applied border at its flared rim with rivet strapwork. Inspired by Shreve's Fourteenth Century Crusader pattern. Made in Connecticut by the Derby Silver Co., circa 1910. 7 1/2" H., 8 1/2" W., 9 1/2" L.

Art Nouveau sterling silver spoon with a woman's head-and-face handle. The Gibson-style woman's hair flows down to a twisted stem. Bowl of the spoon engraved "St. Louis," reverse of handle with initials, dated "Xmas 1906." Made by the Manchester Silver Co. of Rhode Island circa 1904-'06. 5 3/8" L.

Tall emerald green silver overlay vase. The ribbed glass form with gently flared opening has abundant scrolling overlay foliates with hand-chased details. American circa 1900. 10 1/4" H.

Art Nouveau sterling silver tray with wavy cartouche forms in relief about the borders. Rambling flower heads further enhance the curving form. Nice quality with rolled edge details. Hallmarks: Henry Williams, Birmingham 1911. 8 3/8" W., 10 1/4" L.

Fine cast bronze of a boy holding an early carved flute-like instrument known as a chalumeau. The figure with wavy hair wears a jacket, hat and fur-lined shoes. A basket of fruits rests behind. Signed upon the squared base, Duchoiselle. The sculptor, active in France in the nineteenth century, created a highly regarded pair of bronzes depicting Native American Indians in canoes.
