Bronze boy grasping an apple. Sweetly sculpted with a scarf about his neck and wearing a knit cap. Olive-brown patina with a contrasting gold patina upon the face and hand. Signed A. Titze upon the reverse. The artist was active in Vienna from 1900-1920 creating detailed figures of harlequins, animals and children. The bronze stands upon a variegated caramel-tone marble base. 6 1/4" H.

Bronze of a 16th-century gentleman holding two geese. Charming depiction of the well-known bronze sculpture by Hans Peisser, titled "Gaensemaennchenbrunnen" ("The Goose Man's Fountain"). The original sculpture, cast in 1550, is located in the Nuremberg Town Hall square in the old town. The depiction portrays the tale of the geese being carried to market, and as they loudly protested, the gentleman took pity upon them and swiftly returned them to their home. This detailed casting rests upon a variegated green marble base and bears the original retailer's label beneath, G.G. Leykauf. Nuremberg circa 1910. 6 1/4" H.

Very fine quality sterling silver and crystal ice cooler made by the well-known Mappin & Webb. Crystal is cut into nine panels with curving fan patterns. Top is mounted with a silver frame along with notched and curving Art Deco handles. Complete with its original silver ice drainer to allow water to settle beneath the ice cubes. Decanter extensively overlaid with abundant silver flowers upon a florette-and-lattice surround. The unusual and elegant bulbous form with tapering base has a curving handle completely covered in silver. An undulating neck with pouring lip holds a tall, tear- drop-form stopper with additional overlay flowers. Silver has detailed, hand-chased work. Marks for the Alvin workshop of Rhode Island, circa 1900. 10 1/4" H.

Lovely Victorian, carved mother-of-pearl visiting card case. The lustrous diamond-pattern case is engraved with florals. A silver button upon the side allows for opening and closing of the hinged top. England circa 1880. 3 1/8" W., 4" H.

Art Nouveau design at its finest. A romanticized reclining maiden in the manner of Alphonse Mucha is depicted in silhouette upon the large bevel mirror as she gazes forward. Elaborately reticulated, interlacing whiplash vines and leaves form the mirror's top, with additional curving elements in relief. A drawing of the design is illustrated in the Antique Collectors Club reprint of the firm's well-known 1906 catalog, page 295.
