A rare color combination. Pair of Steuben conical-form goblets in Grenadine with applied Mirror Black rims. A clear wafer foot supports each goblet. Frederick Carder's design #5130 as illustrated on page 199 in "The Glass of Frederick Carder," by Gardner; circa 1920. One signed with Steuben acid stamp mark. 5 1/8" H.

Scarce sterling silver flask funnel. Perfect, practical size and proportion. The funnel has a rolled rim, a sign of quality, along with a ring. American circa 1930's. 2 1/2" W., 2 3/8" L.

Figural wine bottle holder from Brienz, Switzerland circa mid-nineteenth century. The magnificent carved, bearded gentleman lays upon a cart and is contoured to allow a bottle to rest as he holds a twig-form collar and twig-saw to nestle the bottle. The rare holder is assembled with pegs and has working wooden wheels. Early Black Forest carvings of walnut and linden trunks, symbols of luxury and wealth, were featured in international exhibitions in London, Paris and the United States. Carving of a human figure, as well as it unusual form, make the holder an extraordinary example for the collector of wine-related antiques. Quite fine condition apart from wear to nose area upon this over 150 year old antique.11" H., 5 3/4" W., 18 1/2" L.

This British Art Deco cocktail shaker has an unusual acorn-form top finial, or cap, which removes to reveal the internal strainer. Incised horizontal bandings are around its circumference. British banded agate wax seal is cut into an octagonal with a rounded top. The polished stone is mounted with chased silver that holds its beveled agate seal with intaglio crest. England circa 1890. 2" L.

A stunning pewter mount with its original gilding adorns the green glass wine decanter. Reticulated berries, foliates and vines are complemented by a hinged top with berries in relief. Made by the Walter Scherf workshop founded in Nuremberg in 1899 and ceased operating in 1914. A fine example from this workshop, who commissioned prominent designers including Friedrich Adler, Peter Behrens and Joseph Maria Olbrich. The range was signed Isis or Osiris as is this beneath. Nuremberg circa 1900-05. 11 3/8" H.

Sterling silver tray has a golf club perched upon its top. Bottom of the tray is glass. Hallmarks for Birmingham 1905. 1 1/8" H., 2 7/8" W.

Fine and unusual Rosenthal porcelain silver overlay vase. Large form glazed in burgundy with additional white, orange and black glazing. Silver overlay in a Japonoiserie scene with a parrot perched among cherry blossoms, foliage and branches. Stamped 1000/1000 which is pure silver. Firm's marks upon base for Germany circa 1937. 11 1/4" H., 7 1/2" W.

Charming narrative bronze. A young boy in a waistcoat and cap lights a lantern. He carries a jug and flask. Patina has golden highlights. Figure stands upon a variegated marble base. Germany circa 1900. 4 1/2" H.

Lovely gilded bronze quatrefoil-form jewel box. Bead-edge top has a detailed pattern. Applied florals in relief, along with a silvered and gilded figure group, further enhance the cover. Sides have acanthus designs. Velvet lined. France circa 1900. 1 1/2" H., 2 3/4" W., 4 1/4" L.

Doulton Lambeth stoneware vases with a mottled blue-on-celadon glaze. Each is decorated in relief with three sections of Art Nouveau florals in deep golden and blues tones. Impressed marks beneath along with artist marks for Maude Bowden and Annie Partridge as well as numerals circa 1906. 7" H.

Tall, footed perfume bottle with a guilloche enamel and sterling silver stopper. The stopper retains its long dauber and the sky-blue enamel work has a lovely engine-turned pattern. the crystal is hand-cut with rambling flowers and vines. American circa 1925. 5 7/8" H.

Art Deco cut-crystal bowl with robust, silvered, curving spiral handles and raised bead-relief design. Top mount and broad-footed base have complementing bead work in high relief. Crystal has a detailed hand-cut, diamond-pattern band along with a cut-ribbon and floral pattern. Signed with maker mark RM, likely Raoul Monteillet, active in France 1905-1925. 5" H., 12" W. to handles

Quality heavy sterling silver sherry label. The elongated, octagonal-form label has incised detail and is fully hallmarked: John Harvey & Sons Ltd., London 1960. Elegant guilloche enamel and sterling silver candlesticks with balluster-form, cut-crystal columns. The golden enamel work has geometric, triangular patterns upon the rounded bases. Fine quality twist-stem sterling silver cocktail bar spoon. Nice functional form with paddle stir at one end. Opposite end has pierced spoon with piercing tines for olives or citrus. Made by Black, Starr & Gorham in New York, circa 1940. 11 1/8" L.

Unusual French silver tastevin, or wine taster, fashioned by a skilled silversmith from a 5-franc coin. The rim of the hand-hammered bowl, made from the actual edge of the coin, reads, "Dieu Protege La France" (God Protect France). The base of the tastevin is set with a 1919 1-franc coin and the handle is fashioned from a 1916 50-centimes coin. Nice example for the collector, circa 1920. 2" W., 2 3/4" L.

Rich cobalt blue Imperial Glass vase decorated within with lead lustre. Vibrant contrast of the iridescent copper orange against blue on the classic form is stunning. Made in Ohio circa 1920's. 6 3/8" H.

Very fine, large WMF (Wurttembergische Metallwarenfabrik) Art Nouveau wine or Champagne cooler. Each of the tri-form sides depicts in high relief a different castle from the Rhine and Mosel Valleys. The castles are nestled among naturalistic landscapes in deep relief as well. Three pierced handles adorn the top section. Firm's marks beneath. Simply beautiful American Arts & Crafts sterling silver tea strainer. The bold design with its hammered handle has rivet-and-strapwork in relief upon the top. The strainer, with workshop marks for the Frank Whiting Co., is influenced by the Shreve & Co. silver 14th Century Crusader pattern. Massachusetts circa 1910. 2 7/8" W., 5 7/8" L.

Scarce example of a cocktail recipe jigger made by Napier. The bucket-form jigger has detailed recipes with measure increments for both a Martini and a Manhattan. Arrows clearly show how high to pour ingredients to create the cocktail. Connecticut circa 1930's. 2 2/3" H.

The green- shaded- to-clear crystal is hand-cut with robust Art Nouveau flowers and fronds. The cover has an applied floral finial. Fleabite to one side of glass. 8" H., 5 1/2" W.

A scarce example of this chromium Art Deco cocktail shaker with a recipe dial design upon its shoulder section. Fitted with an outer top sleeve that turns to reveal different cocktail recipes. The recipes include Side Car, Stinger, Manhattan, Horse's Neck and so on. The recipes still have their red enameling intact.
