Kralik Glatt Silberiris vase with fine silver overlay. Cased golden iridescent pinched vase with a rose orchid interior. Art Nouveau chased silver flowers and vines embellish the form. Wilhelm Kralik Sohne was founded by Josef Meyr in Austro-Bohemia circa 1815. Silver overlay bears marks from La Pierre of New York, N.Y., and Newark, N.J., circa 1905. Dimensions: 4 1/4" H.

Fine Art Nouveau silver jardiniere with Art Nouveau maidens representing the arts. One strokes a lyre while the other holds a painter's brush and palette. Reticulated flowers and interlacing vines complete the design along with naturalistic openwork handles. A cut-crystal liner rests within. Stamped marks for the Martin Mayer workshop of Mainz, Germany along with 835 Fine Silver marks, circa 1900. Artists commissioned by Mayer include Peter Behrens and Hans Christiansen. 3 7/8" H., 5" W., 11" L.

This rare dog's head form jigger, known as the Bar Hound, rests upon its accompanying drinks pourer with original cork. The whimsical jigger is designed to stand upright on the dog's nose and ears, then ready for filling up to the 1- or 2-oz. increments marked on the side. Made in Connecticut by Napier circa 1930's. French figural cocktail picks set. The whimsical narrative displays a chef grasping a taste as he upholds his piping hot platter. A set-of-six chef- cap-topped cocktail picks rest within their cylindrical chromium holder. The figure with red, white and black enamel detail stands upon a macassar wood base. Undoubtedly by Sudre, the workshop known for unusual figural cocktail accoutrements. France circa 1940"s. 5 1/8" L., 5 1/2" H.

Beautifully executed Vienna Secession design upon this biscuit barrel made by the well-known firm of WMF (Wurttembergische Metallwarenfabrik) in Germany circa 1905. Reticulated frame and lid with Secession elements which are repeated in the hand-cut and etched crystal liner. Illustrated on page 252 in the workshop's 1906 catalogue. 8 1/2" H., 3 3/4" D., 5 3/4" W.

An unusual find! Silvered art deco citrus juicer. Top reamer with heart form perforations drains into its awaiting stepped, lobed cup, with reticulated base support. Juicer can be inverted to allow pouring of citrus essence while straining seeds or pour directly from the cup. Stamped marks for the Cailar Bayard workshop of France, circa 1930's. 2 1/2" W., 4 1/2" H.

Quite distinctive and elegant engine turned cocktail shaker. The large classic form has wide turned bandings in an unusual moire pattern. An additional feature is housed within. The strainer section has a prong-form citrus piercer. Invert to extract essence of a lemon, lime or orange to enhance the perfect cocktail recipe. Beautifully interpreted Danish modernist design cocktail shaker. The bold rounded form has a beaded frieze around the strainer section that is repeated upon the base. A ball finial cap removes, to reveal an interior strainer seal cap, with a modernist loop handle. A stunning, elegantly designed shaker. Made in Denmark circa 1940. 9 1/2" H.

Fine in both quality and design. The tall, hand-hammered Chinese export silver shot glass has a detailed, hand-chased dragon applique that wraps about the circumference. A vacant medallion applique further enhances the design. Made by the Wing On silver workshop of Hong Kong circa 1920. 2 1/8" H.

Whimsical design! This cocktail recipe "Rolodex" design stand is fashioned as a chromium cocktail shaker. A knob upon the side turns to reveal an array of celluloid cards which must be flipped gently to offer recipes such as: BRONX, CLOVER CLUB, MANHATTAN, LONDON COCKTAIL and so on. Thirty one recipes plus the COCKTAIL RECIPES intro card. A scarce example for the collector of unusual cocktail bar accoutrements. Marks: Made in Germany; U.S.Zone, circa 1945. 5 1/2" H.

Lovely Victorian heart-form snuff or trinket box. The sterling silver box has repousse florals and scrolling elements upon its sides and removable top. An undulating, crimp edge completes the romanticized heart design. Hallmarks: William Comyns, London 1888. 1 5/8" W., 1 7/8" D., 1 3/8" H.

Lovely Art Nouveau Doulton Lambeth stoneware vase. The bold, bulbous, baluster form with its upward-turned opening, is glazed in cobalt blue. Five large heart-form leaves with detailed relief beading are glazed in celadon. Additional leaves as well as pendant Art Nouveau foliates are glazed in light blue, gold and dark green. Impressed marks as well as workshop marks for Miss B. Harman, circa 1904. 11 1/8" H.

An iconic piece of American cocktail culture! The carved wooden stork, with its glass bud vase, was part of the famous New York City, Stork Club's, table setting and held a single rose stem. The club was opened by Sherman Billingsley, a former bootlegger, in 1929 at 132 West 58th Street. The famous nightclub, ultimately moving to 3 East 63rd Street, closed in 1965 and was the place to see and be seen. It was frequented by Frank Sinatra, Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz, Bing Crosby, Joe Dimaggio and Marilyn Monroe, and the list goes on. The prior collector placed a label beneath, noting that it was acquired from the Stork Club in 1948. 4"W, 7 3/4"H.

The original, highly collected, recipe or "Tells-U-How" cocktail shaker made by Napier in Connecticut. The design for this form was patented by LeRoy Fontan for Napier in 1935. The outer sleeve revolves to reveal drink recipes in windows. An example is illustrated in 'The Cocktail Shaker' by Khachadourian, page 97. No collection should be without one. Large bulbous form silver overlay flacon or decanter. Extensively overlaid in robust Art Nouveau flowers and vines. Fine hand-chased detail enhances the interlacing silver work. A tall dome-form stopper completes the design. American, circa 1900. 8 1/4" H., 4 1/2" W.

Lovely antique French jewel box with kingwood marquetry. The box, with bronze mounts, has a central, hand-painted Sevres, or Vieux Paris porcelain oval medallion upon its top. Interior is fitted with the original tufted rouge silk liner. France circa 1890. 3" H., 5 1/4" W., 8 1/8" L.

Long cocktail bar spoon made by the famous Christofle workshop in France circa 1940's. The silvered, lovely quality spoon, with it's twist-stem, has a hexagonal muddler upon the end. 11" L.

Art Deco era crystal mixer is cut in vertical patterns with a cut band of leaves at the top. A sterling silver mount has an elaborate lyre-form pierced strainer pouring lip. Elegant design made by the Watson Silver Co. of Attleboro, Massachusetts circa 1930's. 9 "H.

Stunning example from the well-regarded Orivit workshop of Cologne, Germany circa 1904. The pewter framework with its fluid, undulating form, has swirling foliate and berry patterns in relief. The large tray is flanked by curving, open Art Nouveau handles with firm's marks stamped beneath. Supported by eight feet, one replaced as seen in photo. Orivit, founded by Wilhelm Ferdinand Hubert Schnitz in 1894, commissioned well-known designers such as Hermann Gradl and Walter Scherf. In 1904 the firm was acquired by WMF {Wurttembergische Metalwaren Fabrik). Pictured in the book title, "ORIVIT: Zinn des Jugendstils aux Koln." The Brohan Museum in Berlin has a prominent collection of Orivit inclusive of several trays. Dimensions: 13 1/2" W., 22 1/2" L.

Art Nouveau Daum Nancy cameo glass quatrefoil-form bowl. Rambling golden leaves along with blue-purple berries, all in cameo, are around the circumference. A mottled background is in tones of yellow, green and amber. Signed in the cameo, Daum Nancy with the Croix de Lorraine. France circa 1900. 3 1/4" H., 8 1/4" W.

Handsome antique crocodile-wrapped whisky flask. Fitted with a removable silvered drinking cup, gilded within. Made in Sheffield circa 1910 by James Dixon & Sons. 3 3/4" W., 6 1/8" H.

Danish-influence sterling silver tray. Reticulated blossom-form handles with beaded accents adorn the gently curved sides. Notch elements further enhance the rolled edge. Made by the J. Wagner & Son workshop in New York circa 1940's. 7 1/2" W. to handles.

Chased, large silver overlay flower heads adorn the bottom of the bulbous-form emerald green glass vase. Art Nouveau silver leaves and vines ramble upward upon the tall, long-neck form. An engraved, oval cartouche completes the fine design. Stamped marks for the Alvin silver workshop of Rhode Island, circa 1900. 12" H.

Bronze bottle opener mounted with a cast figural swan. The form is a fine example made by Richard Rohac (1906-1956) in Austria circa 1950. Rohac trained with Hagenauer prior to establishing his own metal workshop in 1932. He was well-known for creating stylized, Modernist figures of animals as well as other decorative sculpture. Signed beneath with the artist's backward/forward double "R" mark. 1 3/4" H., 3" L.

Fine figural Art Nouveau silvered pewter liqueur service depicting a maiden upholding a cut crystal decanter. A fluid Jugendstil base holds six cordial tumblers. Stylized hand-cutting upon the decanter and tumblers is in a Secession design. Designed by Albert Mayer for WMF (Wurttembergische Metallwarenfabrik) in Germany circa 1900. Firm's marks impressed upon base. Illustrated in "Art Nouveau Domestic Metalwork from Wurttembergische Metallwarenfabrik 1906," page XXXVII and page 129. 14 1/4" H., 13 1/4" L.

Art Nouveau brass box with bronze patina has a central maiden's face in high relief upon the hinged top. Interlacing foliates in relief complete the cover design. Heart-shape foliates enhance the sides. Wooden lining. Made in France circa 1905. 2 3/4" H., 6 1/4" W., 9 3/4" L.

Whimsical cocktail picks stand in the form of wooden bar. The bar, with it's chromium mounted top counter, is a stand for six figural picks. Five picks are designed as different liquor bottles and one is a cocktail shaker. Made by the Harris Dunn Corp. in New York circa 1930's. 5" W., 4 1/2" H.

Bold stepped Art Deco form with notched architectural elements in relief about the circumference. This highly collected cocktail shaker is extraordinarily rare to find with its set-of-six matching conical cocktail glasses. Each with matching step and notched design upon the bases. Shaker's top cap enhanced with a ball finial, removes to reveal a wafer-form strainer which lifts out for convenience. Denmark circa 1930's. 8 3/4" H. shaker, 2 3/4" H. each glass.

Stunning Danish design! Rounded form has a stepped lobed mid-section. Top cap with a its scrolling and graduated beaded finial bears a distinct Georg Jensen influence. Cap removes to reveal a strainer within the cocktail shaker's mid-section. Denmark circa 1930's. 9 1/2" H.

Boldly architectural in form with it's stepped elements. Random starburst embellishments enhance the surface. Top cap with a complimenting step element has a ball finial. Interior features a wafer strainer which removes for filling of ingredients. Sweden circa 1930's. 8 3/4" H.

Set--of-six multi-color enameled and sterling silver rooster, or cockerel "cock"-tail picks. The royal blue, orange and aqua enamel work is on both sides of each rooster, making this a fine quality set. Fitted in original velvet and silk lined case. Each fully hallmarked: Barker Bros., Birmingham 1935.

Sterling silver cocktail jigger made by the Wallace silver company. The clever design incorporates an actual Bicentennial silver dollar, set at the bottom. Eisenhower 1776-1976 can be viewed from within and the Liberty Bell is seen beneath. Designed with 1- and 2-ounce measure increments. Connecticut, 1976. 2"H.

A wonderful and rare find for the collector of unusual figural cocktail bar accessories. The large cocktail recipe, bottle opener is in the form of an arrow. The 10 1/4" long arrow is engraved with six cocktail recipes: ALEXANDER, BACARDI, BRONX COCKTAIL, DRY MARTINI, MANHATTAN and SIDECAR. This is the first of this quite scarce-to-find design we have had, made by Napier in Connecticut, circa 1930's. 2 3/8" W., 10 3/4" L.

Stunning antique sterling silver and enamel butterfly brooch. The detailed lilac wings, with veining in black, have iridescent green patterns along with a green body. Made by the John Atkins & Sons workshop, well-known for their fine silver and enamel jewelry. Fully hallmarked: John Atkins, Birmingham 1915. 2 1/4" W., 1 1/8" H.

Fine antique crystal box with a minutely detailed, cast bronze eagle upon its hinged cover. The eagle is complemented by bronze Art Nouveau floral elements along with foliate-trim mountings. The marquise-form crystal box is cut with vertical fluting and a starburst upon its base. France circa 1900. 2 3/8" H., 4 3/8" W., 8 5/8" L.

American sterling silver jam or honey pot in the form of a drum. The detailed drum was made by the R. Blackinton silver workshop of Attleboro, Massachusetts circa 1930's. Simply charming cocktail bar spoon mounted with a detailed, cast Father Christmas, or Santa. The whimsical, bearded figure carries a toy-filled sack. Nice, heavy quality, silvered spoon has a twist long stem. Made by Reed & Barton in Massachusetts circa 1950's. 11" L.

Very nice example of this highly collected corkscrew. The celluloid stockings are striped in bright dark green and ivory. Nickel mounts are in the form of high-button boots. A rare-to-find pair of cold-painted Vienna bronze dachshunds. The jointly cast male and female have a chain attached to their collars. Painted in deep browns with realistic tan accents on their coats, collars are blue. Austria circa 1910. 1 5/8" H., 2 5/8" W., 3" L.

Tall classic-form cocktail shaker in deep ruby-red glass. The chromium mounts are marked "chrome stainless." Top cap, with its engined grip pattern, removes to reveal a flat-top strainer. American, circa 1940's. 10 1/2" H.

Stunning Secession design. The body of the copper wine or Champagne cooler is hammered. The brass top with its openwork patterns has Secession florette, as well as geometric forms. Energetic flanking brass handles have a central bead element. Made in Germany circa 1905. 9 3/4" H., 11" W.

A spirited Art Deco cocktail picks set with a painted metal saxophone player. The figure, with his red hat and bow tie, holds a brass painted sax as he faces a holder with six red-top-mounted cocktail picks. All are mounted on a macassar wood base.
