A tankard-, or stein-form holder houses Bakelite-cherry cocktail picks. The set-of-six picks rests within their own stand which lifts out of the tankard. Nice example for the collector of unusual cocktail picks sets. Made in England circa 1930's. 4 1/2" H.

Very nice Tiffany sterling silver cocktail jigger. The concentrically stepped design serves as measuring increments. First step is 1/2 oz., 2nd is 1 oz., 3rd is 2 oz., and so on. An unusual example from the famous maker. New York circa 1940's. 1 7/8" H.

Whimsical and unusual! Chromium cocktail picks holder is fashioned as an umbrella stand. It's circular rim is notched with twelve slots to hold the set-of-twelve butterscotch tone, finial-top picks. An umbrella handle design rises from the holder to carry the set. France circa 1940's. 5 1/8" H., 2 1/2" W., 3 1/4" L. each pick.

Traditional English biscuit barrel in the form of an actual detailed wooden barrel. The box with its hinged cover rests upon a beaded tray supported by four claw feet. A chased lion crest embellishes the front. Registry marks beneath as well as upon cover for January 22, 1862. 7" H., 5 3/4" W., 8 1/4" W. w/tray

Antique brass tassel-form letter clip or note holder. The clip has a loop to allow it to hang if desired. Stamped Merry Phipson & Parker, January 1845. 2 1/4" W., 6" L.

Three draped parian maidens, each signed Copeland, are mounted upon a tripod-form stand. An elaborately detailed, gilded metal palm tree emerges from the stand's center. The naturalistic Victorian design upholds a crystal bowl cut and etched with complementing foliates about its border. Popular parian wares were prominent in Victorian-era England. Lovely English pietra dura and gilded brass double photo frame. The reticulated design has scrolling florals that are hand-chased. A central oval is mounted with multi-color pietra dura flowers. Upon opening, two photo frames are revealed. Easel back engraved with retailer Melliship and Harris; circa 1880. Lovely Victorian silver-plated basket with an elaborate, splayed, twig-form handle. Basket interior has cascading flowers in relief with chased detail. English registry mark beneath for April 26, 1881, along with maker mark of Henry Wilkinson of Sheffield. 4 1/2" H., 10" W.

Three bottle finely cut crystal tantalus for wine or whiskey. Holder supported by scroll and acanthus ornamented feet. Adorned with loop handle for transport. British registry marks beneath. January 20, 1870. One antique bottle has flat flake on top of flange. 12 1/4" H Each Bottle, 15 3/4" H Stand.

A rare-to-find pair of cold-painted Vienna bronze dachshunds. The jointly cast male and female have a chain attached to their collars. Painted in deep browns with realistic tan accents on their coats, collars are blue. Austria circa 1910. 1 5/8" H., 2 5/8" W., 3" L.

Oval brass box with hinged top set with Villeroy & Boch pottery. The blue glazed oval is decorated with a Secession design in deeper blue and white. The open lid reveals the V&B workshop underglaze marks for Dresden circa 1905. 2 3/4" H., 4 1/8" W., 5 1/4" L.

Crystal combination cocktail shaker and mixer, is deeply cut with diamond patterns. Wonderful, creative design has a sterling silver cover to allow shaking side-to-side. Remove cover to use as a mixer with a long cocktail spoon. A flat-spouted silver pourer upon the side allows for straining. A most unusual elegant form made by the Webster silver workshop of Connecticut, circa 1940. 9 1/2" H. Cocktail spoons are available separately.

Rare sterling silver "Wet Your Whistle" cocktail jigger. The figural jigger in the form of an actual whistle is fully functional as such when blown! Marked upon its side for both 1- and 2-oz. measure increments. Stamped marks within for the Napier workshop, as well as sterling. Connecticut, circa 1930's. A very fine accoutrement for collectors of the finest. Napier is known among collectors for creating some of the most highly sought bar accessories, including the famous, original Penguin cocktail shaker. 4" L.

Superb quality Art Nouveau 800 Fine Silver tray by the Wilhelm Binder workshop in Schwabisch Gmund, Germany circa 1905. The oval dual handle form has cut out interlacing Jugendstil elements. Hand chased contoured accents enhance the design. Further handwork is seen in rolled edging around the entire tray. Firm's marks beneath. An Austro-Hungarian import mark for Budapest is stamped upon one handle. An identical example in the collection of the Brohan Museum in Berlin is pictured page 101, 'Modern Art of Metalwork', published by the museum. Dimensions: 6 5/8" W, 13 1/4" L.

Wonderful cocktail picks stand in the form of a carved windmill. The windmill blade even turns. A set-of-twelve picks with round, carved wood finials rests within a mounted metal holder. Nice, unusually large set of picks to skewer an olive, cherry or hors d'oeuvre. Made in France circa 1930's. 6 1/8" H.

Art Deco-era silvered pewter letter opener made by the well-known WMF (Wurttembergische Metallwarenfabrik) workshop in Germany circa 1925. A detailed, cast dog's head adorns the top of the opener blade. Signed with WMF mark upon dog's collar. 9 3/8" L.
