Sterling silver tankard-form cocktail shot jiggers. Extraordinary set-of-six! Each is gilded within. Made in Massachusetts by the Lunt silversmiths workshop circa 1930's. 1 7/8" H. each.

Elegant guilloche enamel and sterling silver candlesticks with balluster-form, cut-crystal columns. The golden enamel work has geometric, triangular patterns upon the rounded bases. Candle cups have complementing enamel with an engine-turned pattern. Hallmarks: Adie Bros., Birmingham, 1930. 5" H., 3" W.

A stunning pewter mount with its original gilding adorns the green glass wine decanter. Reticulated berries, foliates and vines are complemented by a hinged top with berries in relief. Made by the Walter Scherf workshop founded in Nuremberg in 1899 and ceased operating in 1914. A fine example from this workshop, who commissioned prominent designers including Friedrich Adler, Peter Behrens and Joseph Maria Olbrich. The range was signed Isis or Osiris as is this beneath. Nuremberg circa 1900-05. 11 3/8" H.

Unusual "cock"-tail shaker with a finely cast, large rooster finial upon the top cap. Interior is fitted with a prong-form citrus juicer. Invert the strainer section to pierce and extract essence of a  lemon, lime or orange to enhance the perfect cocktail recipe. Stamped 1 1/2 pint beneath, along with maker marks for William Suckling Ltd. of Birmingham circa 1930's. 11 1/4" H.  

Lovely Art Nouveau Doulton Lambeth stoneware vase. The bold, bulbous, baluster form with its upward-turned opening, is glazed in cobalt blue. Five large heart-form leaves with detailed relief beading are glazed in celadon. Additional leaves as well as pendant Art Nouveau foliates are glazed in light blue, gold and dark green. Impressed marks as well as workshop marks for Miss B. Harman, circa 1904. 11 1/8" H.

Quite distinctive and elegant engine turned cocktail shaker. The large classic form has wide turned bandings in an unusual moire pattern. An additional feature is housed within. The strainer section has a prong-form citrus piercer. Invert to extract essence of a lemon, lime or orange to enhance the perfect cocktail recipe. The distinctive design, made by the Birmingham Guild of Handicrafts, circa 1930. 10" H.

A raised, pierced gallery surrounds the large, oval tray. Chased borders have foliates along with spiral designs upon its surface. Cast, notched handles flank the form, which is supported by bun feet. Made by Walker & Hall in Sheffield circa 1890. 16 1/2" W., 27" L.

Among the most desirable of Rosenthal's early Art Deco Figures; signed in the porcelain Dorothea Charol. Date mark for 1921. Beautifully painted in rich colors. Mint condition. Pictured in "Rosenthal", by Dieter Struss, 1995, page 61. Dimensions: Height 6 3/4", Length 11".

An undulating Art Nouveau framework adorns the original complimenting cut crystal bowl. A billowing cover enhanced by relief tendrils and a naturalistic pierced handle complete the form. Made by the Walter Scherf workshop founded in Nuremberg in 1899 and ceased operating in 1914. Prominent designers such as Friedrich Adler, Peter Behrens and Joseph Maria Olbrich were commissioned to create designs. This fine example was likely designed by Peter Behrens. The range was signed Isis or Osiris as is this beneath the foot, circa 1900. Dimensions: 3 5/8" H, 5" W, 9" L.

Unusual figural pewter maiden candlesticks. Female figure with hands upon hips and adorned with bow-tied head wrap and long braids. Made in Germany, circa 1900. 8 1/2" H.

Fine Art Deco design. Wine or Champagne cooler with deep bandings about the Modernist form. Angular, carved ebonized wooden handles flank the sides. Made by the well-known WMF (Wurttembergische Metallwarenfabrik) workshop in Germany, circa 1930's. 7 3/4" H., 10 1/2" W. to handles

Handsome English antique sterling- silver-mounted flask. Bound with crocodile, the flask has a drinking cup with gilded interior which slips off for convenience. Cap is threaded to turn and lock into place. A bayonet hinge keeps the cap from detaching. Hallmarks: James Dixon & Sons, Sheffield 1912. 3 3/8" W., 5 5/8" H.

Beautifully stylized Doulton Lambeth stoneware jardiniere. Interlacing robust foliates as well as whiplash vines are tube lined. Glazed in royal and light blues along with celadon and sepia brown. Unusual mottled, sponged effect upon surface. Impressed Doulton Lambeth marks for period circa 1902 along with decorator marks for Jane Rumbol. 7 3/4" H., 8 1/2" W.

Art Nouveau brass box with bronze patina has a central maiden's face in high relief upon the hinged top. Interlacing foliates in relief complete the cover design. Heart-shape foliates enhance the sides. Wooden lining. Made in France circa 1905. 2 3/4" H., 6 1/4" W., 9 3/4" L.

Very fine quality sterling silver and crystal ice cooler made by the well-known Mappin & Webb. Crystal is cut into nine panels with curving fan patterns. Top is mounted with a silver frame along with notched and curving Art Deco handles. Complete with its original silver ice drainer to allow water to settle beneath the ice cubes. Hallmarks upon both drainer as well as top mount: Mappin & Webb, Sheffield 1937. 4 3/8" H., 7 1/2" W. to handles

Lovely sterling silver Art Nouveau photo frame. An Alphonse- Mucha-inspired maiden is in relief upon the undulating form. Rambling flowers and vines, along with a butterfly, adorn the romanticized design. Hallmarks: R.U. & Co., Birmingham 1907. 5 3/4" W., 6 5/8" H., 3 3/4" diameter photo.

The Bronze Flute Player depicts a boy wearing a plumed and tasseled hat playing his instrument. He is further adorned with a fur vest and a leather pouch. Patinated in rich brown tones with golden highlights. Signed E. Barillot (Eugene Barillot, France 1841-1900). The sculptor, who trained at the Berlin Academy, was active 1870-1900. The bronze stands upon a two-part plinth of variegated grey, black and gold marble. France circa 1890. 8 3/8" H.

Stunning Secession design. The body of the copper wine or Champagne cooler is hammered. The brass top with its openwork patterns has Secession florette, as well as geometric forms. Energetic flanking brass handles have a central bead element. Made in Germany circa 1905. 9 3/4" H., 11" W.
