Most unusual example of a fine Art Nouveau silver card case. Rambling vines along with daffodils in high relief are upon the cover of the case. The case, with its spring mechanism, opens to reveal a beautifully fitted interior of moire silk. Each side has a gusset pocket to hold a card. The form accommodates modern- day-size business cards. Impressed marks for 800 fine silver along with maker stamp: Germany circa 1900. 2 5/8" W., 4" L.

Beautifully stylized Danish sterling silver cocktail bar spoon. The heavy silver spoon has a looped handle with an applied pendant grape cluster. Very fine quality. Made in Denmark circa 1950 by the C.C. Hermann workshop of Copenhagen. 11 1/4" L.

Art Deco-era silvered pewter letter opener made by the well-known WMF (Wurttembergische Metallwarenfabrik) workshop in Germany circa 1925. A detailed, cast dog's head adorns the top of the opener blade. Signed with WMF mark upon dog's collar. 9 3/8" L.

Whimsical and unusual! Chromium cocktail picks holder is fashioned as an umbrella stand. It's circular rim is notched with twelve slots to hold the set-of-twelve butterscotch tone, finial-top picks. Handsome English magnifier. Staghorn handle with sterling silver mounts. Each mount has ram's-head-relief design along with beaded accents. Hallmarks: William Beatson, Sheffield 1893. 4" W., 10 3/8" L.

Sterling silver cocktail jigger made by the Wallace silver company. The clever design incorporates an actual Bicentennial silver dollar, set at the bottom. Lovely and elegant Art Nouveau biscuit barrel made by the well-known WMF (Wurttembergische Metallwarenfabrik) workshop in Germany circa 1900. The green- shaded- to-clear crystal is hand-cut with robust Art Nouveau flowers and fronds. The cover has an applied floral finial. Fleabite to one side of glass. 8" H., 5 1/2" W.

Edwardian-era hexagonal-form decanter. Elaborately cut with florettes and oval elements. Tall oval stopper has complementing cut accents. Ideal for whisky or liquors. England circa 1910. 8 1/2" H.

A central display of open flowers and leaves crowns the robust form with further naturalistic reticulation at its lower section. Germany circa 1900. Dutch 833 Fine Silver tea strainer. The Art Nouveau design form has detailed tulips and fronds in deep relief upon its handle. Pierced strainer is floriform with hand-chased accents. Assayed in Amsterdam 1922. Dimensions: 2 1/2" W., 4 3/4" L.

The "Bar Baby" features a corkscrew, bottle opener, funnel and 2-ounce measure all housed in a mini- cocktail-shaker form. Made by Napier in Connecticut circa 1930's. A whimsical and practical bar accessory. 3 3/4" H.

Tall, footed perfume bottle with a guilloche enamel and sterling silver stopper. The stopper retains its long dauber and the sky-blue enamel work has a lovely engine-turned pattern. the crystal is hand-cut with rambling flowers and vines. American circa 1925. 5 7/8" H.

Unusual French silver tastevin, or wine taster, fashioned by a skilled silversmith from a 5-franc coin. The rim of the hand-hammered bowl, made from the actual edge of the coin, reads, "Dieu Protege La France" (God Protect France). The base of the tastevin is set with a 1919 1-franc coin and the handle is fashioned from a 1916 50-centimes coin. Nice example for the collector, circa 1920. 2" W., 2 3/4" L.

Figural "Bucket Full" jigger with pivoting bale handle has markings for up to 4 oz. of liquid measure. Incised bandings and a pouring lip complete the whimsical design. Made by Napier in Connecticut circa 1930's. 2 1/2" H., 4 3/4" H. to handle

Fine quality silver cocktail spoon made by Carl M. Cohr in Denmark circa 1930's. The highly regarded workshop was founded in Fredericia by the father Ditlev Madsen Cohr. Ball finial rising above a pierced loopwork crown, patinated within. 12" L.

Colorful Art Nouveau pottery butter box. The undulating form, with a bell flower and vines in relief, has an applied naturalistic frond handle. Glazed in minty greens along with burgundy and yellow. Interior is a rose tone. Impressed Austria beneath, circa 1900. 3 1/4" H., 6" W., 8 3/4" L.

Unusual British Citrus Juicer Reamer. Upon piercing citrus on tripod prongs a twist carries the juices through funnel to removable glass bowl. Made in Birmingham circa 1920 by George Bowen & Sons. Dimensions: 3 3/4" H, 5" W.

Set-of-Eight carved bone cocktail picks each with a sterling silver mounted cap. The set rests with a flocked holder. Accompanied by the original maker's card for the Frank M. Whiting Silversmith describing the set. Quite an unusual set. Made in Meriden, Connecticut circa 1930's. Dimensions: 3 1/8" L Each.
