Lovely English pietra dura and gilded brass double photo frame. The reticulated design has scrolling florals that are hand-chased. A central oval is mounted with multi-color pietra dura flowers. Art Deco pottery group of a nymph and faun from the Marcel Guillard (1896-1932) ceramic workshop. Sculpted by G. Debloize. Beautifully detailed bronze of girl pouring a jug by the sculptor Rudolph Kaesbach (Germany 1873-1955). The girl, with a rich, deep golden patina, has long, wavy hair adorned with ribbon bows. Les Maitres de l'Affiche
In the 1890's streets in major cities were enriched with large and colorful advertising posters created by leading artists of the era. The prominent artist, Jules Cheret had his own print workshop in Paris which offered works from the Imprimierie Chaix print workshop. As artistic director of Chaix, Cheret had the vision to create Les Maitres de l'Affiche (Masters of the Poster). The series of 11 3/8" x 15 5/8" posters designed by the most prestigious poster artists of the day were chromolithographic reductions of the same large format examples be these artists. Prints were sold in packages of four and offered from December 1895 to 1900. Ninety seven artists were represented in the series which on occasion included a bonus plate. 256 total plates or images were produced in the five years Les Maitres de l'Affiche was offered. Each print has an embossed seal confirming it's authenticity.

Hallberg pewter candle holders made by the C. G. Hallberg workshop in Stockholm, Sweden. Hallmark date 1931. The prominent gold and silversmith was jeweler to the Swedish royal court. Each two-arm candle holder rests upon a round, stepped base. A central fan form finial crowns the curving form. Dimensions: 9 1/2" H., 8 1/4" W.

Exquisitely cast gilded bronze urn by the famous Barbedienne Foundry in France circa 1900. Detailed relief floral clusters are found upon the top. Bronze boy grasping an apple. Sweetly sculpted with a scarf about his neck and wearing a knit cap. Olive-brown patina with a contrasting gold patina upon the face and hand. Signed A. Titze upon the reverse. The artist was active in Vienna from 1900-1920 creating detailed figures of harlequins, animals and children.
