A rare example of one of the most coveted "cock"-tail shakers. Behold the Wallace Bros. rooster. Standing at 14 1/2" tall, the dashing rooster has a hammered body topped off by a wavy comb and scrolling tail-feather handle. The tongue unscrews to reveal a pouring spout. Made in Wallingford, Connecticut circa 1928. Firm's marks beneath. An example of this shaker is in the collection of the Dallas Museum of Art. ***Long established as a leading specialist in finest quality period Art Deco era cocktail shakers – from classic to figural forms - Over 75 examples in our stock at all times – Many not listed on our site.***
