King Charles Spaniel bronze sculpture by the well known Deco era sculptor, Alexander Kelety. Unusual 2 tiered jardiniere form with desirable damascened patina; rests on mottled coral tone marble. Born in Budapest, Kelety studied with Imray Simay in Toulouse. He exhibited at the Paris Salons between the wars. Many examples of Kelety's works are illustrated in "Art Deco and Other Figures", by Brian Catley. Signed and dated 1928. Dimensions: Height 6", Length 8 1/4", Width 3 3/4".
