Stunning Frederick Carder design in Ivory and Mirror Black glass. The vase, with its lobed and fluted form, rises upon a footed support. Carder's design #7331 as illustrated on page 293 in "The Glass of Frederick Carder," by Gardner; circa 1920's. 8 5/8" H.
Stunning Art Deco design. The architectural sugar shaker was designed by Keith Murray. The well-known New Zealand artist was commissioned by Mappin & Webb as well as Wedgwood. This unusual example has Murray's iconic Art Deco styling but is also engine-turned in a moire pattern. Mappin & Webb marks beneath, London circa 1930's. 6 3/4" H.
Art Deco cut-crystal bowl with robust, silvered, curving spiral handles and raised bead-relief design. Top mount and broad-footed base have complementing bead work in high relief. Crystal has a detailed hand-cut, diamond-pattern band along with a cut-ribbon and floral pattern. Signed with maker mark RM, likely Raoul Monteillet, active in France 1905-1925. 5" H., 12" W. to handles
Flared Modernist silver bowl from the GAB (Guldsmedsaktiebolaget) workshop of Sweden. The footed form, fashioned in three sections, has a central, stylized band of Art Deco florals in relief. The quality craftsmanship displays rolled rims at top as well as bottom. The GAB workshop, founded in 1867, evolved into Sweden's leading producer of Modernist silver under the direction of Jacob Angman. Hallmarked: GAB, date mark 1927, Stockholm assay,as well as 830 Fine Silver. 5 1/4" H., 8 3/8" W.
Elegant guilloche enamel and sterling silver candlesticks with balluster-form, cut-crystal columns. The golden enamel work has geometric, triangular patterns upon the rounded bases. Candle cups have complementing enamel with an engine-turned pattern. Hallmarks: Adie Bros., Birmingham, 1930. 5" H., 3" W.

Unusual strainer design has holes pierced in a stylized florette pattern. Lovely Art Deco-era, hexagonal-form pill box. The box, with gilded interior, has a central basket of florals as well as foliate detail upon the sides. Marks for 800 fine silver. Made in Germany circa 1920. 1 1/8" W., 1 5/8" L.
Modernist cocktail mixer designed by Carl Conrad Braun for the International Silver Co. circa 1940. From a group of designs created by Braun known as the Tropical Line. The designs evoked Scandinavian influence or incorporated tropical forms. Retains its original pineapple-finial- and leaf- paddle-form mixing spoon. An example of this elegant mixer, with stepped base and rounded Modernist lines, was featured in the exhibit "Modernism in American Silver" curated by the Dallas Museum of Art. Pictured in the book associated with the exhibition culled from the museum's permanent collection, page 146. 11" H.
