A rounded, stepped cap completes the form. The interior houses a citrus reamer with an elaborate strainer section with pierced flowers. Modernist cocktail mixer designed by Carl Conrad Braun for the International Silver Co. circa 1940. From a group of designs created by Braun known as the Tropical Line. The designs evoked Scandinavian influence or incorporated tropical forms. Retains its original pineapple-finial- and leaf- paddle-form mixing spoon. An example of this elegant mixer, with stepped base and rounded Modernist lines, was featured in the exhibit "Modernism in American Silver" curated by the Dallas Museum of Art. Pictured in the book associated with the exhibition culled from the museum's permanent collection, page 146. 11" H.

Lovely Art Deco wine or champagne cooler. The double-tiered form has a hammered surface upon its lower section. Carved wood Art Deco spiral handles flank the top. Unusual example, made by the Wilhelm Wolff workshop in Pfzorzheim, Germany circa 1930. Dimensions: 8 1/4" H, 10 1/4" W.
Hallberg pewter candle holders made by the C. G. Hallberg workshop in Stockholm, Sweden. Hallmark date 1931. The prominent gold and silversmith was jeweler to the Swedish royal court. Each two-arm candle holder rests upon a round, stepped base. A central fan form finial crowns the curving form. Dimensions: 9 1/2" H., 8 1/4" W.

Fine pair of two-light, Modernist, Danish silver candle holders made by the well-regarded Grann & Laglye workshop of Copenhagen. A round, raised, disc foot supports an energetic, swirling loop with stylized bead and foliate elements upon each. Tall candle cups with bobeches are at asymmetrical levels. Stunning design by this silversmith founded by Johannes L. Grann and Johannes Laglye in 1906. Hallmarks: Grann & Laglye, 1934, along with 3 tower fine silver purity mark. Assay Master: Johannes Siggaard. 6 3/4" H., 6" W.
