A rare find. Set-of-six sword cocktail picks are each silver gilt and created to commemorate the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II. This is the Sword of Mercy design which was one of the three ceremonial swords used in the coronation ceremony, the other two being the Sword of Spiritual Justice and the Sword of Temporal Justice. The design symbolizes the transfer of the kingdom into the care of the Queen. Picks are fitted in their original silk- and red velvet-lined case.
