Art Deco bowl designed by the well-known New Zealand designer, Keith Murray. The stepped, footed bowl with geometric border, in Murray's signature, architectural form, was made by Mappin & Webb circa 1932. Lovely tray made by the well-regarded Argentor workshop of Vienna circa 1900. The silvered high Art Nouveau borders are reticulated with rambling florals and vines. The footed, rounded form has a decorated, etched glass surface to complete the design. Signed beneath. Argentor was located in Wimbergerstrasse and was founded by Ernst Russ and Adolf Wilhelm Hetzel.
